Abstract

In the last thirty years, communicarion and advertising have changed in profound ways both in their professional practices and in the academical research. These processes are generating new forms of understanding communication by professionalds and society, and also by new generations of students and professionals, on the line to form a more proportionate and fair society. The purpose of this paper is a brief summary of the research topics in communication, both audiovisual and advertising, providing an invaluable information to understand what actually happens in the media society.
