Who looks at whom?
Abstract
Television and cinematography share matters of expression, image and sound (Noel Burch 1985: 101). This material kinship, however, has given rise in both audiovisual practices to a manifest divergence of discursive configurations. When we attend, immersed in the darkness of the room, to the screening of a film most of the time we are ignored by the subjects who live on the screen. Keywords
