The Thematic Network of Strategic Communication (COES)

Abstract

In the year of 1996 and at the end of April, the deadline for submitting projects for the concession of Teaching Cooperation Thematic Networks, sponsored by the Ibero-American Cooperation Institute of the International Cooperation Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (ICI), ended. ). To this first call, carried out in the last weeks of the socialist government, almost a hundred projects were submitted, of which only five were approved, those presented by the universities of Barcelona (Autonomous and Central), Salamanca, Zaragoza, Valencia. The Thematic Network of Strategic Communication (COES) was a project presented by the Autonomous University of Barcelona through its Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising.
