In memoriam, Dr. Rom

With deep sorrow, the editorial team of grafica and Questiones Publicitarias announces the passing of Dr. Josep Antoni Rom Rodríguez, Rector of Universitat Ramon Llull, esteemed colleague and dear friend.

Dr. Rom was one of the key promoters of grafica since its inception, contributing with his vision and academic rigor to consolidate this project as a reference platform for research in design, visual communication and advertising. His participation as a member of the Advisory Board was crucial in guiding its direction and ensuring its scientific quality.

Equally significant was his connection with the grafica Symposium. Always attentive to the dialogue between academia, research, and professional practice, he fostered a spirit of open and interdisciplinary debate that continues to inspire this gathering today.

From grafica and Questiones Publicitarias, we express our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues at Universitat Ramon Llull, sharing the profound sense of loss for a person who has left an indelible mark on our academic community.
